Step 4: Participant Rewards

The Participant Rewards page allows you to specify how many participants to recruit, determine the compensation each participant will receive, and review the projected cost of the session before launch.

This session will recruit [X] participants.

Enter the total number of participants you would like to recruit for this session. The session will automatically close once this number of participants have successfully completed the study, even if the session's scheduled duration has not yet expired.

Note that only successfully completed participations count toward this total.

Each participant will get a reward of [X] [USD | EUR].

Enter the amount each participant will receive for successfully completing the study. This value can be in either U.S. dollars or Euros. A minimum reward of 0.10 USD or 0.10 EUR is required for monetary compensation.

Each participant reward also incurs a payment processing fee of $0.75 to cover the fees we are charged to move money. These fees are automatically included in the projected session cost.

Please note that compensation cannot be changed after the session has been launched. If you need to adjust participant rewards, you will have to end your session and create a new one with the desired compensation.

Experimental: Prevent duplicate participations from the same device/browser combination in this session.

When enabled, this experimental feature makes it more difficult for a single individual to participate multiple times using different participant accounts on the same device or browser.

This setting is currently experimental and should not be considered a complete safeguard against duplicate participation.

Projected Total Cost

As you configure participant rewards, a panel on the right automatically updates to provide your session's Projected Total Cost. This estimate includes participant rewards and payment processing fees. It also displays your current payout balance and indicates whether sufficient funds are available to launch the session.

Please note that this estimate does not include any subscription or session fees that may be incurred when downloading completed participant data after the session concludes.
